Important!
If you require a visa to visit Mozambique, please do get in touch with the team. Please note if you hold a passport from any of the following countries you are exempt from any visa application. Portugal, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Belgium, Canada, China, South Korea, Ivory Coast, Denmark, United Arab Emirates, Spain, United States of America, Finland, France, Ghana, Indonesia, Ireland , Israel, Italy, Japan, Norway, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Russia, Senegal, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland and Ukraine.
However, you are required to present proof of hotel accommodation and return flight ticket to your own country. You will be required to pay 650 meticais = $10. You can either pay in cash or with card (please note only VISA cards will be accepted at the borders’ office).

Mozambique has a visa exemption program for ordinary passport holders for nationals from Belgium, Canada, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ghana, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Ivory Coast, Japan, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and the United States for a 30-day stay (renewable for an additional 30 days upon justification) for business and tourism. Visa-exempt nationals may travel to Mozambique with their travel documents and pay a processing fee of MZN 650 (equivalent to USD10) upon arrival. You can either pay in cash or with a card. Please note only VISA cards will be accepted at the border office.

The citizens of Botswana, Malawi, Mauritius, Swaziland, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe do not require an entry visa when travelling to Mozambique for no more than 30 days and not for residence or working purposes.

Technical site visits
Delegates may have the opportunity to participate in a limited programme of technical site visits designed to bring key investment themes from the forum into a live operational context. Subject to final confirmation and operational permissions, visits may include the Port of Maputo and its surrounding logistics ecosystem, the wider Maputo–Matola industrial and freight platform and selected urban mobility assets linked to the metropolitan transport agenda. These visits are intended to give participants practical insight into how gateway infrastructure, freight systems, industrial activity and urban mobility investment are shaping Mozambique’s wider transport and logistics opportunity.
